New month, new me - cuz why not? You don’t have to wait until New Year’s to set goals and intentions for yourself. Instead of packing everything into your January 1st resolutions, I find it simpler and much less stressful to set 3 intentional goals at the beginning of each month. It’s a good way to stay focused and really create long lasting habits. Here are my February goals!
Perfect my daily skincare routine - I have been through so many elixirs, toners, oils, you name it, constantly trying to craft my skin care routine. I’ve realized that no matter how much googling I do, the best way to figure out what my skin needs is by talking to a professional. Thank GOD for Taryn, one of our estheticians and skin goddesses in the West Village. She gave me a perfectly curated Upkeep Facial, and a ton of amazing advice on products, which I bought immediately. I cannot wait to see a transformation in my skin. Don’t forget to take before and after photos!
Only buy lunch twice a week - This may not be an issue for everybody, but dang it’s an issue for me. I work full time, so of course that means I also pay for luxurious salads and vegan burgers full time… It is my goal this month to have a meal prep day every Sunday where I can cook a ton of easy recipes and bring them to work with me throughout the week. I know my bank account will thank me for this one, and so will yours!
Spend more quality time (safely) with friends - I know it’s tough right now. I will definitely do a full blog post on how to take care of yourself during this isolating time. But things are starting to open up, and there are ways to spend time with loved ones safely! UPKEEP is currently offering a Buy One Get One 50% off deal for their signature Upkeep Facial. You might not be able to have a full spa day with your bestie, but the two of you could come in, get facials, split the price, and buy each other coffee afterwards for a walk in the park. This is the perfect way to practice self care with your loved ones, whilst also refreshing your dry winter skin.
Do you have any goals for this month? I’d love to hear them!
and that’s how you UPKEEP,
