up·keep
/ˈəpˌkēp/
noun
the process of keeping something in good condition.
What is the difference between “upkeep” and “maintenance”?
Maintenance is an action performed to keep something functioning or in service whilst UPKEEP is the act or effort of keeping something in good repair.
Basically, maintenance occurs when something begins to falter, yet UPKEEP is done at all times to keep something running smoothly and without the irritating need for maintenance.
No, I’m not talking about your car. I’m talking about us women, men, and everything in between.
We rarely take the time to UPKEEP ourselves. Instead we push ourselves until we hit empty, and are forced to sit on the sidelines whilst we refill our tanks.
We need to stop making ourselves our last priority. I mean come on, we’re in these bodies our entire lives! We deserve to do more than just maintain, we deserve to UPKEEP.
So that’s what I’m here to inspire you to do. I’ll be posting daily content on how you can UPKEEP, physically, mentally, emotionally, and everything in between.
Welcome to How to UPKEEP.
