WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling create many small puncture holes in the skin by moving over the skin repeatedly. The devices use a motor to move needles in and out of the device surface. The health care practitioner can adjust and control the depth and speed of penetration of needles into the skin.


What fillers do you use?

We use Juvederm, Restylane and Belotero products.

Juvederm is an FDA-approved dermal filler used to restore facial contours and improve signs of aging. It's an injectable dermal filler with a base of hyaluronic acid. It's a treatment that focuses on the face, specifically the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.

Restylane is a FDA-approved dermal filler made of a biodegradable, non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in all living organisms and provides volume and fullness to the skin. Restylane is a gel of hyaluronic acid.

Belotero Balance is a prescription injection that is approved to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate to- severe nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth).


How long will my fillers last?

Your body absorbs the filler over time as it is a naturally produced material. Fillers last approximately 6-12 months.


What is PRP?

PRP is a form of cosmetic injectable treatment that uses the client's own platelet rich plasma. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth rich platelets and when injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation. This procedure is also used for the acceleration of hair regrowth when used in the scalp.


What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a treatment that uses patented technology (a medical-grade device) to cleanse, extract, and hydrate skin. It clears dead skin cells, loosens pores, and preps them for extraction using a mix of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and botanical extracts.


When should I stop using Retinol before my Aesthetics Appointment?

We typically suggest that you discontinue use of Retinol about 5 days prior to your treatment. If you’re prescribed Retinod by your doctor, you should ask you doctor for further guidance.


Should I shave before my Laser Hair Removal appointment?

In order to prepare for your Laser Hair Removal appointment, we suggest that you shave either the night before or the morning of your appointment.


Can I go to the gym after my appointment?

We suggest that you refrain from strenuous physical activity for a minimum of 24 hours following your appointment with us.
